Coconut Maca Porridge by Deliciously Ella

This porridge really might be the best porridge in the world, I’ve been totally obsessed with it for the last few months and the recipe has been a huge hit on Deliciously Ella! It’s just so incredibly creamy thanks to the coconut milk, coconut oil, banana and almond butter. These energising ingredients complement the maca too which I add for its energy boosting properties, so you’ll be buzzing all day! 

1 cup of boiling water
1/3 of a cup of oats
1 banana 
4 tablespoons of coconut milk
1 tablespoon of almond butter
1 tablespoon of coconut oil
1 tablespoon of Organic Burst Maca powder


Place the oats, boiling water and coconut milk in a saucepan and allow them to heat for a couple of minutes, until the liquid has almost all been absorbed. At this point slice up the banana and stir it into the mix. A minute or so later stir in the coconut oil and almond butter, followed by the maca and then serve.
