Ella, over to you:
This is my favourite smoothie at the moment; it’s just so delicious. The juiced apple and pear make it deliciously sweet, the avocado and almond butter makes each sip incredibly creamy, the ginger adds an amazing kick and the celery and kale up the green goodness without giving any flavour. This mix of fruits and veggies is incredibly good for you too, full of vitamins, minerals, healthy fats, antioxidants and protein. All of which work to make you feel amazing! I then add a spoonful each of Organic Burst Spirulina and Wheatgrass to give it an extra boost of goodness.
- 3 stalks of celery
- 1 apple
- 1 pear
- an inch of ginger
- 1 small ripe avocado
- 4 big stalks of kale
- a teaspoon each of Organic Burst Spirulina and Wheatgrass
- a heaped teaspoon of almond butter
- Put the celery, apple, pear and ginger through a juicer and collect the juice.
Then put the juice into a blender with the flesh of the avocado, the spirulina, wheatgrass and almond butter. Tear the kale leaves off their stems and add them to the blender too. Blend at a high speed until perfectly smooth.
